The Dress

This is a stunning wedding gown made by Steven Khalil. It is in great condition, worn once on August 30, 2014. It is a ivory strapless, fit and flare design with a sweetheart neckline. It has a zipper up the back (buttons could easily be added if you prefer this look). It is fully boned in the corset with hand beaded crystals & pearls, the dress includes ivory floral lace throughout the bodice and in some parts of the skirt.

The dress features a layered gathered skirt in soft tulle, a lovely low back and cups in the bust. There is also a simple belt that comes with the dress that beautifully accentuates your waist. The dress is a size 10 (I normally wear a size 8) but the bodice can be easily taken in. Bust cups have already been sewn in (I am a B cup). The hem was altered slightly, I am 177cm tall and wore flats on the day.

The dress is a design called ROSE by Steven Khalil and was purchased from David Jones in Sydney in June 2014.

The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned 3 days after the wedding by wedding dress dry cleaning specialists, Leon's (located in East Brisbane, QLD). It is in excellent condition. I have both receipts for the purchase of the dress & the dry cleaning.

I received so many compliments about this dress - it was a really beautiful dress to wear. Despite the full tulle skirt it is not too heavy to wear, I lasted in it all day very easily.

The head piece I wore on the day is a Viktoria Novak design and would be happy to discuss selling this also if you are interested. It is in excellent condition. The piece is called victoria - cheek out her website under 'ready to wear'.
