The Dress

'Georgina' dress by Karen Willis Holmes. I bought this dress directly from the KWH store in Perth in January 2021. This dress is BRAND NEW and never worn. I unfortunately had to wear a different dress as this one did not arrive in time for my wedding. I hope someone else is able to wear this beautiful gown while it is still a current and popular design.

The Georgina gown has an elegant V-neckline which has been designed to sit on the edge of the shoulders and complements the sensual low back. This wedding dress features stunning floral beading throughout the bodice and tapers out into the form-fitting bias cut skirt. It is also finished with a fine beaded belt.

The dress is extremely flattering due to the beading around the hip/mid section and being cut on the bias. The dress is beautifully lined and really does give you a nice shape which is also attributed to the contrast in beading around these areas.

A note from the designer Karen —“Georgina is cut on the bias so it is going to be very figure-hugging on the hips. The most important part of this dress is the beading. It features a 3mm beaded base with a few other textures but the most beautiful part is the heavily floral beading design – there’s an awful lot of detail and texture whilst maintaining a refined sensibility. She’s exquisite.”

This dress has not had any alterations whatsoever so it really is an amazing find for anyone who likes this style.

The dress has only been tried on in store and is currently sealed in its original bag. Please contact me if you have any questions or would like additional photos.
