The Dress

This white high low fit and flare floral embroidered dress with halter v-neckline, sleeveless sheer fitted bodice and open back, high low skirt featuring a sheer overlay pleated layer was the perfect dress for me! I didn't want a traditional wedding gown, I wanted a fun, nontraditional white party dress and that's exactly what I got!

Unfortunately, due to the crisis of 2020, my husband and I were never able to have our wedding. Instead, we had a 2 hour photoshoot. I loved wearing the dress! I honestly felt unstoppable when I had it on! I wish I could have worn the dress for an entire night! It fit me so perfectly. It is so elegantly and delicately detailed with all the beading around the torso and neck, yet so fun and full of sass with the high low shirt above the knee. The material is tight but stretchy and the train can be pulled up off the ground with the American bustle I had added onto the dress when I got it altered.

I think you can wear any type of shoe with the dress, but I chose to wear a 4 inch (9cm) nude wedge because of the outdoor venue space where our wedding was going to be held. I am 5'6" (172cm), however, with the to shoes I chose for the dress, I ended up being 5'10" (181cm). For dancing, I would have changed my wedges for flats and pined up the train with the bustle, which would have made the train hang just about 1 to 2 inches (2.5 to 5cm) from the ground.

I'm selling the dress because I'm not going to try to have another wedding. That moment in my life has come and gone and I want to focus on other things in my life. I love the dress, but have no need for it anymore. I would love for it to go to a good home and have another bride be able to enjoy it as much as I have!!

Alterations

I bought the dress in the USA. Originally, I bought a size 6 in USA sizes. I'm typically a size 2 or a size 4 in USA sizes. I bought the dress online and I bought it big because I wasn't sure how it would fit. After the alterations, the dress is in between a size 2 and 4 USA sizes and size 36 in European / Spain sizes. I had the alteration lady add the American bustle and take out the breast pads. When I wore the dress for the photoshoot I wore nude nipple covers because the dress is pretty see though in the breast area.
