The Dress

This stunning 'Lucille' gown fits like a glove, I felt so comfortable in this dress. It’s a heavy metallic silk and the colouring is 'Vintage Pearl' which showed up beautifully in our wedding photos. The heavy silk drops perfectly and did not cling to me at all, it also has a small train that can be worn out or pinned up.

The well fitted corset fits a B-C cup and didn’t need any adjusting or pulling up throughout the day and fit firmly but comfortably. I’m a size 8-10 and it fit firm but wasn’t too tight. I was able to comfortably sit and move all day.

The Hem is finished to a 47" length from waist to floor at centre front of skirt.
I had a cm professionally taken off the front so it fell perfectly at the floor with my shoes. I also added a back loop that hooks on to the Pearl buttons to lift the train.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and is in its dry cleaning bag.

Alterations

I had a loop attached to hook the train up to the buttons. This loop is embedded in the dress so you cannot see it.
I also had about one cm hemmed off the front of the dress so the dress fell perfectly at my shoes.
Both were done by a professional alterations person.
