The Dress

This beautiful Marie Claire - Venezia stock size 6 (size 8-10 fit) wedding dress was bought from The Sposa Group. Sheath dress follows your natural curves from top to bottom, hugging the hips and glutes. It has a front v-neck, v back and is a slim fit.

Dress has been altered with the hem slightly taken up to suit my height of approx 170cm (I wore flats and still an extra 2cm overhang), 2cm taken up at the shoulders & cups were added (push up cups). Hips loosened slightly and loop/button added at the back to tie train up off the floor. The inner body suit was removed as it wasn’t required and one itchy underneath layer as it kept catching on the other layers.
Dress comes with original Sposa Group Bridal Dress Bag, dress tags and is currently preserved in a box as it has been dry cleaned (wedding was 27-Feb-2021).

Tried several dresses on at the Sposa Group, but most were too heavy, thick, itchy and uncomfortable. This soft, beautiful dress was light & comfortable with high quality stitching with pearl/silver beading to give it that glimmer.

Dress is a stock size 6 from Sposa Group, with the below measurements: Bust 35”, Waist 27”, Hips 38”.

Alterations

Slight hem lift at the bottom and shoulder straps taken up 2cm.
Hips let out approx 2cm.
Body suit on the inside was removed as it was just another extra layer not required.
Push up cups added.
One underneath layer removed as it was itchy and catching on the other layers.
