The Dress

Design: A beautiful, sheer, embellished dress in true Steven Khalil style with a sweetheart neckline and trumpet fit. The main bodice of the dress is beautifully layered with lace and intricately embroidered with beads, sequins and Swarovski crystals. There is a waist belt in the dress which accentuates the hourglass figure of the dress.

Bottom of the dress features layers of sheer tulle, lace and fabric for volume with a long train. The top layers are layers of thin, sheer, white tulle fabric. A layer of white lace peeks through the white tulle. Bottom layer is a beige/cream thicker layer of fabric.

Dress design is based on the custom made dress Steven Khalil designed for Australian influencer Bianca May Cheah.

Fit: Dress is a mermaid/trumpet shape and is fitted from the bust down to slightly above the knees. Dress has been altered to fit my measurements. Please note there is no stretch in this dress so would not be ideal for dancing.

My measurements are:
- Bust: 85cm
- Waist: 69cm
- Hips: 95cm

Colour: Dress is primarily ivory in colour with beige peeking through from the bottom layer.

Flaws: This dress was only worn for 2 hours for the ceremony and bridal shoot, however due to the nature of having worn the dress on grass and sand, there are some slight minor pulls in the lace layer underneath. Keep in mind that this is the second last layer of the dress so pulls cannot really be seen.

Alterations

Tailoring: Dress has been tailored down to fit my measurements, however tailor has left some room so it can be slightly let out and further taken in. I'm around a size 6-8 (primarily 6 on top and 6-8 for bottoms). Dress was originally a size 12.
