The Dress

Madi Lane (Australian designer) wedding dress - "Manhattan"
This is from the latest collection. You are unlikely to find it listed anywhere else as I was the first in Qld to order this dress and second in Australia to wear it!
It is labelled as a size 4 but I wear an Aus 8 usually.

This dress has a very modern style with thin straps, pockets and mocha lining and ivory flat lay lace with sheer sequins.

It is untailored from the rack size, the only adjustment I had was a bustle added which is 4 small buttons on the lower back (easily removable). However, the hem is stained black from dragging on the floor at my wedding (same for the lining) so it will need to be hemmed. Luckily I am 178cm tall (almost 5'11) and wore 5cm heels on the day. I would estimate that the bottom 5cm of the dress will need to be removed to remove the stain - do not be deterred by this if you are shorter than me, as you will need to hem it anyway! The rest of the dress is in impeccable condition and has been washed.

The dress has a corset style boning so you can wear without a bra and it will stay perfectly in place. Madi Lane are famous for this and call it their signature Fusion Construction - it is very comfortable! They detail and demonstrate this a lot on her Instagram Stories.
In the photos I am wearing a 3 tier hoop to make the dress more ballgown like, however it can be worn without a hoop to fall more A-line.
