The Dress

This dress is from the Pronovias Spring 2020 collection, the color is called "off white" although I would say it appears more true white. The top is Chantilly lace with a corset bodice underneath and a gorgeous bateau neckline. We opted for a custom order with the additional lining under the bodice so that the boning of the dress still shows but the lace is not completely see-through. The lining is nude. The skirt is crepe but in immaculate condition, with a simple American bustle(or over-bustle) that was so easy and quick to pin up while still looking sleek! Cathedral length, plain crepe train that was perfect and practical for our church wedding. On our wedding day, I wore 3-inch heels and I am 5 feet tall, a little over 100 pounds. This was my DREAM DRESS and I hope someone else can give it new life! Alterations

American (or over-) bustle added and dress hemmed to fit someone 5 feet in height with 3-inch heels. B-size bra cups were added (the bride is a 32D so there was a bit of extra space). Sleeves were not altered and appropriately skim the top knuckles. There is no room to let this dress out although it does have a bit of "give" with the lace and crepe!
