The Dress

Karen Willis Holmes Caroline dress – brand new/unworn.

I bought this dress for my wedding which was meant to be in May 2020. We rearranged the wedding to later in the year, but I couldn’t get the dress from the alteration shop in time so it has never been worn and now needs a new home.

The Karen Willis Holmes website describes it as:
A beautiful silhouette framed by a sweetheart neckline and delicate spaghetti straps. A split in the skirt allows you to ramp up your shoe game.

It has been slightly tailored to add cups (which could be easily removed), shortened so the front hits the floor (I’m 5”6 and was fitted wearing a 85mm heel)and a loop/hook was also added so the train can be put up in the evening.

It has a low back and long train and is made from a stretchy crepe material which I liked as it allowed for easy movement/wasn’t too restrictive. Ivory colour. Full zip back, with (removable) button close belt.

Alterations

Cups added (can be removed). Length altered so front hits the floor (am 5"6 and was fitted wearing 85mm heel) There is enough material so allow length to be further altered if necessary. Loop/hook added to back so train can be put up in the evening.
