The Dress

ART NOUVEAU...VINTAGE...BOHO CHIC, if you are after this style, then this dress is perfect!!

I ordered this dress through Babushka Ballerina, Sydney where they directly ordered it from the designer in the UK to be made to fit my measurements. I wore it at my 2017 wedding and it has been professionally dry cleaned.

The dress is labelled as a UK 16, I comfortably wear a AUS size 10 - 12.

It is a beautiful relaxed art nouveau style which is prefect for a vintage or boho chic feel. Designed by the renowned London designer Catherine Deane.

I continually kept coming back to this dress when searching for the perfect one and was not disappointed when I tried it on. It sits beautifully, sitting off the shoulder with a beautiful scalloped edge which is a highlight of the dress. It is very comfortable to wear and easy to dance in.

This would be an easy dress for a professional to make any alterations to as it is not a complicated cut.

Alterations

Hem shortened, which was done be a professional seamstress recommended by Babushka Ballerina. The hem was shortened at the waist to not interfere with the beautiful scalloped bottom edge.
