The stunning Cleo gown designed by Rue De Seine purchased from their Auckland store when it was still open!
Now discontinued rare, two-piece CLEO gown from the Love Spell collection.

Cotton embroidered mesh with hand-embellished sleeves. deep V bodice with a high/low hemline and Full skirt.
All fringe is hand-knotted
Silk Satin slip
Color off white only

I got so many compliments on this dress and still do 5 years later! Such a vintage and boho dream!

I opted for the Cleo robe part of the dress is a size Nz/Aus 8 (US4) but the slip, I went for Rue De Seine’s other slip option in a NZ/Aus 10 (US 6) which did not have a front split. I was so happy I did this slip was almost identical to the original one but just no split!

This listing includes the outer robe and slip dress And belt- No veil included.

The dress was professionally dry cleaned by wedding dress specialist and has been stored and aired out since.
Measurements: Robe: Shoulder to waist: 17inches Waist: 27inches done up Slip: Waist: 28inch(bias cut) Bust: I was 32-34C cup at the time Front centre length to hem: 52inches Bottom of middle back to hem: 54 inch. Slight train. Condition: Worn once for wedding and professionally dry cleaned after and stored in wedding dress garment bag. Anti yellowing treatment applied by dry cleaner. No missing beads. On small foundation mark on Robes left shoulder (see picture) but hardly noticeable on. One discoloured piece of fringe on front right about 2mm in length. Slip has two very slight pulls at bottom front. Belt has one gem missing on the left appliqué as seen in pictures.

Alterations

A extra 2 inch panel of the robe fabrics was put in just under the bust to make the dress sit at the natural waist rather than empire cut. The belt hid any slight seam line that you could see. (see pictures for ref) Also Slip dress waist was taken in at the waist and straps shortened and cups tact in only, easily unpicked if not required.
