The Dress

This Berta Bridal gown is an exquisite A-line silhouette dress featuring delicate handmade lace and 3D flowers. The quality of the lace and flower embellishment is mesmerizing. Not many dresses nowadays have such a delicate and perfectly symmetric lace and floral appliqué.

Full cloche skirt made of 4 layers:
- top layer with delicate 3d floral embroidered lace and scallop bottom,
- second layer sequins/diamond dust skirt
- third nude layer
- bottom layer is a full cloche skirt which shapes the dress beautifully.

Nude mesh material between the cleavage.

Rhinestones along straps and around the waistline (very sparkly).

Zipper closure with clasps.

Dry cleaned with the specialist bridal gown cleaning company in New York and packed with the plastic bust to preserve the shape.

My size is US 4 and IT (European size) 40. Size 40 is reflected on the dress. Bought at Saks Fifth Ave Bridal salon in New York, dress arrived in September 2019.

Alterations

The original dress when it arrived from the designer had a long trail which did not allow much movement and made dress heavy and bulky in the back when pinned, therefore, we decided to remove the trail but leave the back a bit longer so it laid on the floor but at the same time allowed me to move/ dance freely. Could not be happier with this decision as I wanted to enjoy the dress all evening and feel comfortable at the same time.

The length of the dress was extremely long when it arrived (standard for high end designer dresses to allow precise cut of the hem) which was professionally hemmed for my height which is 6 feet when wearing 3.3 inch/ 85 mm heels.
