The Dress

Iris is Sassi's 2021 collection and was worn at my tiny 30 person wedding. I was surprised to hear relatives say it was the prettiest dress they had ever seen! It's certainly different from normal dresses with its tulle belle sleeves and was a joy to wear. It still has its large train in tact.

As with all Sassi's dresses it was made by her atelier in Somerset, UK. I bought it from her Chelsea store.
Its in good condition, the bottom has been cleaned (with water only as the fabric is delicate) so we could show it to family afterwards - its not perfect though, although this wouldn't matter if you were altering the dress to make it shorter - i am pretty tall at 5.10 without heels. Also, there is a mark on the silk waist band at the back (pictured) but this would come out with a dry clean as its only a bit of mud.

Alterations

The dress was altered around my bust and could be re-altered easily for a smaller bust (i am a 32 E bust size). Other than that, the dress is exactly how Sassi intended it to be in terms of design, I didn't want to bespoke it as i thought it was perfect as it was.
