The Dress
I had this dress made for a 2020 wedding that was cancelled because of COVID and ultimately decided to go with something simpler, so the dress has never been worn apart from fittings. I fell in love with the detail of the back, which I thought was unique and looked a bit like a moth. The skirt is wonderfully flowy, and the piping along the edge of the top prevents the illusion fabric from being itchy at all.
Alterations
I asked the dressmaker to add in a liner and some boning to the front panel so I could wear it comfortably without a bra (it's very comfortable). The dress has also been hemmed to length and ties added to bustle the train.
