The Dress

This dress was accurately described online as "soft, flowy and whimsical with a slight bohemian feel". I wore this dress on the happiest day of my life and it genuinely made me feel like a princess.

Something that was important to me when I was shopping around for dresses was to find something comfortable, easy and light so that I could dance & enjoy my wedding day. But I never imagined I would find something that fit that profile so well.

I also have a bit of a tummy, which I didn't want to be worrying about the whole day, so this silhouette was great for my body. I could move and dance without having to worry about lumps and bumps.

I removed one of the tulle layers to give it a softer feel and added a sparkly layer underneath the top layer. That layer lifted the whole dress - it sparkles when it hits the light but isn't "too much" and is still light.

I tried to choose pictures that captured the beauty of the dress, as well as all the different angles and movements (have tons more to share if you want ;)) Choosing pictures for this listing brought back all the happy memories I have with this dress - and I hope to find a bride that will love this dress just as much as I did & to give her the opportunity to feel as special as I felt on my wedding day.

Alterations

As above, one layer of tulle was removed and replaces with a soft sparkly layer. The dress was shortened slightly but still has a beautiful trail that can be hooked up. Also, I had the side layers on the hips sewn together and pressed down so that it would flow smoothly from the top down into the skirt. I also removed the floating buttons from the back to open it up.
