The trumpet silhouette is stunning and so flattering. Your husband will love how this hugs your curves and your mother will appreciate that you're not letting it all hang out in front of the family. Most importantly, YOU will love how comfortable you are all night long while looking stunning. This gown features lovely lace straps and a neckline that allows for a variety of supportive undergarments to be worn. I had small snaps sewn in the inside of this gown to attach to my bridal corset so that it would not ride up or show. You could easily add receiving snaps on your strapless bra or corset for this purpose. You will be well supported and SO FLATTERED by the construction of this gown. If you are a busty, petite bride, you need this dress!

I bought two dresses for my wedding day - this dress was not worn at all on my wedding day and is still in the same (excellent) condition as I received it from the store. This dress is a clean, sample model dress with no flaws in the fabric, seams or fasteners.

I am 5'2" and dress was hemmed to accommodate 3" wedge heels. My stats - Weight: 120 Bra: 34DD Waist: 26.5 Hip: 34

Alterations

The train was shortened to be a sweep/brush train so no bustle is needed. This will save you so much hassle of adjusting the bustle on the day and will also reduce your alterations costs if you need further alterations. Also, I preferred how having no bustle made the silhouette really sleek, flattering, and sexy. No poofy, rooster-tail, bustle-bottoms here! Off-the-shoulder straps were sewn to be on-the-shoulder to provide additional support. The dress was altered to accentuate the trumpet flare in the leg/thigh area and very minimally taken in.
