The Dress

This dress was originally purchased from the Mews. The dress was made in Paris and I bought it for its effortless elegance and comfort. There are lots of photos of the dress if you google 'Laure de Sagazan Bukowski'.

I recently wore it during the day of my wedding (I changed into a different dress for the evening reception). It is incredibly comfortable and light to wear.

Slight alterations made to dress to bring it down from the designer size to a UK size 6/8. I normally wear size 6 or XS so the dress would fit someone in those sizes. The dress has been shortened slightly in the body, and the cap sleeves have been taken in as I found the original too broad for my frame. The neckline has also been sewn up further as I found it quite exposing, but this is simple stitching which can be undone.

I am 166cm tall and wore 3 inch heels. For me the dress just skimmed the floor.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned. However there are still some minor stains on the train and around the hem (I have tried to photograph these in the final picture)
