The Dress

Updated description: Willowby by Watters Hearst dress from BHLDN in Ivory/Blush color.
Gorgeous dress and in perfect condition. It has been dry cleaned by Elegance Preserved ($200 value) and has no stains - looks new!

The dress: So comfortable to wear all day and totally romantic, has great movement and photographs super well. It is very lightweight and held out perfectly even through sunset photos. Given the shape, did not require shapewear. Has a very comfortable lining on the inside for easy slip on and off. I am not wearing heels in any of the pictures, just bridal flats.

Oversized floral appliques accent this gown's fitted bodice and float down the frothy A-line skirt, which extends into a slight train. A deep v-neckline, open back, and side cutouts reveal a bit of skin while two straps accentuate the waist.

Alterations

Dress was hemmed to my height of 5 ft. 5 in. and wearing flats. Shoulders were taken in an inch. Full large floral appliqué in the front was moved up and hand-stitched carefully to accommodate the hemming on the bottom of dress but to keep the full floral appliqué (instead of cutting it partially out). A traditional bustle was added with 3 simple loops to bustle the train during reception. 1 layer of original tulle from hemmed skirt of dress was used to add a little additional coverage to the cups of the dress for a subtle yet helpful additional coverage!

No alterations to the waist for this dress.
