The Dress

Looking for a fun yet stylish wedding jumpsuit? Maybe a long gown just isn't your jam? The Patsy has the right amount of sparkle and chicness that makes it a absolute statement piece without looking overdone. The bodice and overlay are made of an elegant Italian lace that is TDF. All the flower details in the sleeves, bodice and tulle train have been hand-embroidered for your big day.

I wore this outfit for 3 hours to my wedding brunch. It was a total hit! Everyone kept asking me where I got my outfit when I posted on Instagram, and at the brunch, even the men! It felt lovely on, I felt comfortable enough to sit and stand in it, with no fuss or worry about anything being exposed or constricted. I am a 32DD and wore a sticky bra from FashionForms (found it at Bloomingdale's) and it was absolutely fine. I felt secure and no bra lines. While it remains in pristine and beautiful condition, I had it dry cleaned at an organic hand-detailing cleaner, to ensure that it is just as beautiful for the next chic bride. I felt so beautiful in it!

(This piece originally came from Paris and I had to pay an import tax on it, which is the trouble with buying it straight from the website, it was an additional $213USD just to import it, so buying it here saves at least all that) PRE-tax the dress values at $1790USD.

Alterations

I had the pant extended by 3/4" so that it laid at a more flattering part of the leg. No fabric was cut, the hem was just lengthened and is reversible (can be shortened etc.). I am 5'8.5" and athletic, and did not like how large it made my calf look when it sat 3/4" higher. You can see in the first four photos how the hem is super short and hits the largest part of the model's calf, where as mine it is longer and sits at a better spot.
