The Dress

I bought this earlier in the year from the Anna Campbell sample sale online, but have since bought a new dress to suit a change in wedding venue. This dress was too large for me and would have also needed a number of alterations to fit - I am a small AU size 10 on top and a 10-12 on the bottom and I believe this size would best fit a size 12-14. It is quite flexible because of the elastic waist band and bow but for my smaller upper body was still too big and I was going to need to take it in.

It was graded a sample quality 2 on the Anna Campbell website. The dress is embellished all over and in some places in the skirt some of the beading had come off. I had not intended to replace these because it was not noticeable by me. They did provide a packet of beads which I'll make sure to send with the dress!

Some of the loops over the arm are also a bit worse for wear. The sales assistant said that I could buy new replacement loops for $100, however I was going to remove them from the dress because there's a lot of bling already, and so opted not to do so.

It's a truly gorgeous dress for the vintage inspired bride, and I need to sell it before I change my mind again about wearing it!
