The Dress

This beautiful classic design dress was hand made for me, therefore it doesn’t have a size tag, but I was roughly between a size 8 - 10. It is made of ivory coloured pure silk/satin, fully lined, with beautiful French Guipure lace 3/4 sleeves and fitted bodice with a tiny sea pearl in the centre of each flower pattern. It is quite fitted in the bodice then flares slightly from just under the bust line into a beautiful Aline shape. There are 30 small covered buttons running down the spine, making it easy to stand in and pull up. I remember being super comfortable in it all day long and great for eating, dancing and going to the loo. I originally intended on having a small capped sleeve, but then the wedding was moved to August, so had some extra lace imported to add on to make a longer sleeve. this could be removed if needed. It also has a separate multi layered tulle skirt to go under for extra fullness in the skirt if needed. It comes with a matching two piece veil, 1 shorter and 1 a long cathedral length, both scattered with tiny sea pearls and palettes. Both veils on attached to hair combs and are designed be worn together for the ceremony, then the longer one can be removed for dancing if needed. You may want to dry-clean it so its fresh for your special day, ready to enjoy and even pass down to your daughters, or use the fabric for a beautiful Christening or Communion gown.
