The Dress

Welcome to my dress! I loved this wedding dress from the moment I saw it, let me tell you a little about our story:

I was bound and determined to purchase a consigned wedding dress to be more "environmentally conscious" and also to continue the journey of love for a dress. After falling in love with the style "Devon" from Theia Couture, I finally found it here on stillwhite!!

When I tried the dress on at home I was instantly in love with just a few alterations to make. I highered local wedding company in Vancouver to lower the back (cutting out the original "THEIA" label) and added a slit in the front. All alterations were done by Davie and Chiyo: https://www.davieandchiyo.com/. It was exactly how I wanted it.

Our wedding was planned before the pandemic and because of family travelling we decided to postpone until we can safely meet again... and we never have! We are happily unmarried and by the time we get around to replanning I will definitely want to shop for another perfect dress. I'm hoping that this one finds the home that it deserves and the second chance at a wedding day!
