The Dress

I LOVED wearing this dress so much, and would love for someone else to get the pleasure of wearing it on their wedding day! The lace is beautiful, everyone loved it and it is very easy to wear (doesn't crease, needs minimal alterations, is forgiving if you lose/put on a bit of weight as it just hugs the body).

I think it would fit size 6 - small size 10 brides as the dress has some give, especially from the ribcage downwards. For the length, I am 160cm and wore 9-10cm heels and it was actually a bit too long for me. It's 153cm from the top of the shoulder to the scalloped hem.

It has been worn once in October 2021 and cleaned. There is one bit of damage on one of the lace scallops at the bottom, shown in one of the photos with the red annotation. I don't think this would be noticeable when wearing, but if you wish, there is plenty of extra material at the back from the long train which a seamstress could use to repair/replace the scallop.

Alterations

The dress has only had alterations to the length (shortened), and similarly, the strap lengths have been shortened. I had a bustle added for the train to use when dancing, which is completely in tact and very secure. The cups in the bodice are the originals, so smaller or larger ones could easily be added. The body of the dress is completely unaltered. On top of the retail price, alterations were £250.
