The Dress

The Darcy gown is an elegant, simple dress, that's highly decorative and embellished with sequins and beading. The bodice is firm, offering a flattering, supportive fit but the beading and sequins onto the bias cut skirt gives the dress flexibility. The dress is fully lined, with a stretch lining and has a centre back zip closure. It was incredibly comfortable to wear on our big day, I felt glamorous and i love that this dress has a timeless appeal. I was able to wear it with confidence from the ceremony right through to the dance floor in the evening.

Alterations: No major alterations have been made to the dress - it fit me so well - I'm a pretty standard AU Size 8. With the exception to the hem, bra inserts and bustle the dress is as-is off the rack.
I had C - cup bra inserts added to the dress (these can be easily changed), so no bra is required to be worn with the dress. The hem was taken up to suit my height (172cm without shoes) and i had a ribbon/bustle added to the train, so i was able to wear this around my wrist when walking(all alterations were done by Alice Haute Couture).

Inclusions: Dress with belt, Karen Willis Holmes veil (V#3 F - Camila- 1T, Tulle 250cm), certificate of dry cleaning and original purchase receipts for the gown and the veil.

Condition: The dress is in immaculate condition. Syndals bridal dry cleaning have done a wonderful job. There is no missing beading or pulls in the dress, and no stains or marks.
