The Dress

The dress is the blush/ivory version which features a blush underneath layer topped in ivory tulle. The A line dress features pearl and crystal beaded, embroidered appliqués on a soft net ball gown. Details include a plunging v-neckline and banded waistline trim with lace trimmed train. The beads and crystal features glisten and catch the light without being overly sparkly.

I felt wonderful in this dress, its a very flattering cut, I'm a pear shaped size 24 I usually wear a 22 top and a 24 bottom and found this dress flattered my shape and held me in in all the right places. The detail on the back is beautiful whit a zip fastening that then features a full run of buttons over the top to hide the zip.

The show stopping element is the train. The lace detail and full train really make a beautiful and bold feature. There is a hidden hook and bar feature for fastening the train up in the evening to make dancing easier!

The blush colour is very flattering and not as stark as a pure white. Its a very subtle blush tinge so still a very traditional shade.

I purchased a hooped underskirt to make the skirt flare out more. This hasn't been dry cleaned but is available for free should anyone want it with the dress.

On the day I walked around comfortably, danced all night and felt amazing in this dress so I hope whoever buys it has the same wonderful experience.

Alterations

The dress was taken in slightly on the bust area and the straps shortened. I'm 5ft9 so no alterations were made to the skirt or length of the dress
