The Dress

Worn 1x for my wedding day and has been professionally dry cleaned for you! I felt beautiful and was comfortable even through a night of dancing. No alterations have been made to the sizing, fits true to size, I normally wear an 8. I am around 5'6" and the length was perfect with 4" heels. I was worried about shapewear because of the open back, but shorts-style shapewear was still hidden! After the cleaning, I looked closely & could not find any damage, however I cannot promise there are no small snags anywhere due to the delicate lace material.

Alterations

I loved the backless aspect of this dress, but I didn't love how much the high neck covered up. My seamstress had the genius idea to remove the lining behind the lace spade shaped area on the neck (see last photo). She also added cups that can be easily cut out if you don't need them and a 3-point bustle (see 3rd photo). Save a couple hundred dollars on alterations you would probably need/want anyway!
