The Dress
The Oakley gown by Rue De Seine is both feminine and modern. The structure of the gown is flattering as it draws in at the waist, fits at the hips before falling out into a dramatic train. Strapless bustier-style with boned bodice and cut away neckline Off white lace layered over a nude lining layer and an off-white lining layer creating an silvery oyster colour effect Drop waist fit Zipper closure at centre back I had this beautiful gown made in 2020 for my wedding, it’s extremely comfortable and very flattering. The dress is in fantastic condition as I’ve had it dry cleaned so it’s as good as the day I brought it home.
Alterations
The dress is a standard Rue De Seine size 10. I had shorten the length of the torso ( skirt ) from the waist line (1inch), shifting zip. The hem was taken up with one layer of lining. I have the off cuts if you wish to use them. I’m 5’4 but with heels 5’7, it was taken up so the dress was just dusting the floor at the front. I also had 3bustles added so you can have a boogie without having to worry about people stepping on the dress.
