The Dress

I opted to have my wedding dress custom made after being unable to find the perfect dress. I took inspiration from Paolo Sebastian's swan lake gown.

The stunning top consists of a fine ivory tulle and a delicate beaded lace sourced from France. The skirt is fully lined and is made up of layers of silk organza in ivory (separate panels) which gives beautiful movement to the dress.

The top half of the dress is fitted with the slightest cap sleeve and the skirt flows freely from the hips. This gives the dress the advantage of being easily adaptable for a slightly different body shape. Could fit anyone between size 6-10. I actually have a larger bottom and thighs than my top half would suggest. This dress hid it perfectly!

The couture dress was soft, elegant and romantic while still having a contemporary element to it. It is extremely light and incredibly comfortable to wear. I insisted that my wedding dress needed to be practical as well as beautiful as my two year old was an integral part of our wedding day, and I needed to run around after her and pick her up when needed.

I wore a soft and very comfortable corset underneath in nude. You could use a white corset underneath for a different look entirely.

I am 168cm tall and am a B cup bra size.

The dress has not yet been dry-cleaned. The top half has no evidence of being worn. The bottom of the skirt has some slight staining that would come out when cleaned. Happy to sell with/without cleaning but would prefer to have dress fittings while the dress is uncleaned.
