The Dress

Custom Cappellazzo Couture Wedding dress made in 2020.

The dress is made from Sonia Cappellazzo's signature neoprene material up the top with a bonded silk underlay at the bottom which becomes the fluid skirt and train. I am 170cm tall and wore 8cm heels on the day. The dress would fit a size 8 to 10.

The signature folded neoprene creates a beautifully structured back with the most stunning detail – all hand folded by Sonia. The dress has inner boning for structure as well as moulded cups for support. The back is secured by a hidden zip and hook and eye. The dress also features a hidden slit so that when you walk your shoes can be seen.

The dress train can be bustled up at the back with a hidden button which makes it convenient and comfortable to wear all night once the formalities of the ceremony are done.

The dress has been dry cleaned by penguin dry cleaners as recommended by Sonia with a few marks on the bottom seam which are hardly noticeable or could be easily cut off and re hemmed. I also have the veil available to go with the dress.
