The Dress

‘The Vintage’ gown is by Sydney designer Johanna Johnson and is a stunning silk satin gown with hand crafted beading detail on the half capped sleeves and below the bustle. The gown features an exquisite low back and gentle fishtail sweeping into a train.

The colour of this gown is Johanna Johnson’s ‘Vintage’ silk and I had extra beading added to the capped sleeves to highlight the neckline and draw attention to the low back which was custom altered by Johanna Johnson.

The cut of the gown along with the heaviness of the silk-satin means that it skims over your body, so is incredibly flattering. The dress has been hand finished with finger-loop and padded bra cups to ensure a smooth finish across the bust.

The dress was originally purchased for $4200 and I paid $325 for the dress to be cleaned by Leon’s Fine Dry Cleaning who specialise in delicate fabrics and wedding dresses.

I am selling the dress now for $2400, a great price for a dress only worn for a day.

The gown is a Johanna Johnson size 6. I am 5'4 (162cm) and wore 10cm heels.

Bust - 81cm
Waist – 68cm
Lower Hip - 85cm
