The Dress

This dress with an overskirt were bought in June of 2020. It has been altered, but not worn! Simply decided on a different dress after our wedding was postponed due to COVID so no bad wedding juju. :)

As pictured, this is a 2-piece dress. The dress itself is a midi length dress that falls just above my knees (5'2"). It has a basic white first layer with details of lace and beading that overlay the first layer. The straps are string spaghetti straps that were altered to sit in the middle on the back to create diagonal lines to the shoulders.

The skirt goes over the dress and is simply zipped so easy to remove for a reception and dancing! It is a simple skirt with a mid-length train. Material consists of polyester, lace, and satin. It was also altered to my height with 3" heels.

Alterations

Dress portion was taken in about an inch around the waist and bust. Cups were replaced with smaller cups (roughly a C cup to a B cup. Straps altered to sit in the middle on the backside.

Skirt length altered to 5'5" height with heels. Waist took in about an inch and currently is about an inch too large on my current frame.
