The Dress

The Ava gown is a slimline gown with beautiful embroidered and beaded lace embellishment with a scallop design on the bodice and skirt. The detailed design is made to such a high standard, as with all Karen Willis Holmes gowns. The bodice has a sweetheart neckline and the back of the dress has satin-covered buttons.

I purchased this as a sample gown from a local boutique. It has never been altered and is in perfect condition. It's ready to be altered to fit someone else's measurements, which is why I left mine off the description. It's also the original sample length, which is designed to have plenty of fabric to hem to any bride's height. You can see they had to clip me into the dress in the boutique. For reference, I'm 5'2" and wasn't wearing shoes when the photos were taken.

The label says size 6. According to the boutique, it can be altered down to a size 2 or 4 easily.

It's such a beautiful high-quality dress that I really love. The only reason I'm selling it is that we had to postpone our wedding.
