The Dress

Lovely and lightweight dress worn in 2019.
It has an illusion neckline, off the shoulder lace cap sleeves and a sheer back with decorative buttons all the way down to hip level. The dress fastens with a zip and hook & eye. The colour is "nude/ivory".
The dress is slightly fitted across the hips but the lining is soft and a bit stretchy so makes it easier to sit/dance. The dress is surprisingly lightweight and it's really comfortable to wear.
The train can be hooked up for the evening.
The bodice has some supportive boning so it's wearable without a bra if you like. I added some modesty loops to the inner side of the back to keep my strapless bra from riding up and being visible through the mesh part of the bodice.
The lining is a soft blush/nude colour, with a layer of ivory chantilly lace and then the top layer of ivory tulle has ivory lace appliqués scattered all over.
The condition overall is great, there are no obvious signs of wear. Some of the elastic in the button loops have stretched loose but they are still intact. The dress has been dry cleaned and will come in its original dress back complete with original tags and spare button.

Alterations

Side seams taken in across hip and seat (all seam allowance left inside not trimmed away so can be very easily returned to the original size, or let out even further.)
Train shortened to puddle length with added bustle loop.
Sleeves taken in on the shoulder to fit closer to the arm. (1cm seam allowance remaining)
Small lace applique added to front neckline to cover cleavage. Could be easily removed if you prefer.
