The Dress
This is a classic, minimalist ivory white dress with a peek-a-boo deep V in the bodice covered with illusion fabric. Lace or a fabric panel can easily be added for more coverage if desired. The dress is made of taffeta with a tulle underskirt for added fullness and volume, and has convenient pockets and a chapel-length train in the back for drama.
The bodice stays put all day with absolutely no tugging or pulling needed, thanks to an internal waist stay - an elastic band on the inside of the bodice to support the weight of the fabric on the body. The waist stay can easily be removed or adjusted if needed.
The skirt includes a royal bustle with three hooks.
Alterations
Ivory satin-covered buttons and loopholes were added to cover the zipper on the back. If preferred, they are easily removed, leaving only the zipper.
