The Dress
This was the first and last dress I tried on. It was everything I wanted. It has a nude underlay which gives a real vintage feel. This is layered with an elegant ivory lace over the top with a low back that made it feel extra special. It’s striking and subtle all at the same time. I was unsure if I wanted to sell my wedding dress as I love it so much but I felt I couldn’t let it sit in a wardrobe not getting the love and attention it needs from its next bride. The dress has been dry cleaned and turned out really well. The only minor default noticed is on one of the buttons covering the zip at the back of the dress, the fabric has come off this single button but this is tiny and easily fixed. I had the dress altered in Guildford at the alterations yard, where they work with the designers of the dress so know the dresses very well.
Alterations
Dress was taken up. Heel size worn was 7.3cm. Dress was altered at the back to make slightly lower. Lace flowers added on to the straps for extra comfort General fitting to body shape. Bustle added
