The Dress

I’ve never felt more confident in a dress as unique as this. Without altering to the waist area after purchase, it fit like a glove. The slit is the perfect height to not reveal anything but still give a sexy feel and makes it easy to walk in. The sleeves are sheer with a very delicate lace including buttons at the wrist (the sleeves are honestly what sold me on the dress and truly what I got the most compliments on). We had the dress professionally dry cleaned and you can’t tell where there was dirt on the train at all! I worked really hard to keep it clean during the wedding. The color is technically listed as ivory but it looks very white. The shell is 95% polyester and 5% spandex. Sleeves are 100% polyester. Lining is 97% polyester and 3% spandex but looks similar to silk. If I could wear this dress to daily events I would, I love it so much but love the idea of someone else loving it again even more as it is no longer sold on BHLDN’s website.

Alterations

Shoulders were taken in to keep the sleeves from falling down. Dress was hemmed up to adjust to my height (5’9 with my heels on) and float right at the ground only slightly touching. A buttress was added on the back (one white button, 3 clear loops on the inside of the train to loop onto the button)
