The Dress

Jane Hill - Leni dress. From the 2021 Adore collection.

Worn once on my wedding day in November 2021 and professionally dry cleaned at Syndal's Bridal Drying Cleaning soon after. In excellent condition with no marks, pulls or blemishes.

The Leni gown has a subtle hand beaded lace overlay with silk lining and mesh side panels in the bodice. My dress has a 'mink' coloured lining giving it more of an ivory colour. The front of the bodice and the skirt are both fully lined (back of bodice is not lined). Size D-cups sewed in although these can be easily removed or replaced to fit.

I felt so comfortable in this dress and really didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. I found it very flattering for my body shape, loved the 'modern' style of the gown and the subtle texture and sparkle of the overlay. I found it very easy to move and sit in and it was very light to wear. I would love for someone else to wear this dress and feel as AMAZING as I did in it.

My gown is a split size, so the bodice is a size 10 and the skirt is a 12 (in line with Jane Hill sizing chart).

Alterations

Alterations included:
- Taken up slightly in the hem
- Taken in slightly in the waist and lower back
- The bottom of the side of the front bodice was extended every so slightly during production to add a tiny bit more coverage on the side.
- I opted for a shorter train at the production phase
