The Dress

Selling my Rebecca Ingram/Maggie Sottero Dress from the Fall 2018 collection. This is an elegant dress with delicate lace and bead detailing. "Beaded lace motifs and Swarovski crystals adorn the bodice of this romantic sheath, completing the illusion short-sleeves, illusion V- over sweetheart neckline, and illusion V-back. An Arlo Chiffon skirt completes the soft elegance of this wedding dress. Finished with crystal buttons over zipper closure."

Dress size 10, which is about equivalent to the street size, as I wear about 9/10 normally. No alterations except for the shoulder area (it needed to be lifted a bit). The dress itself has bra cups and supportive boning built right into the bodice but I wanted a bit extra support, so I wore a corset underneath. So, with the corset, I fit very comfortably in the dress as a street size 9-10ish. Since my wedding day I have, I have gained about 15lbs and am probably slightly larger than a size 10ish (maybe size 11? :P). I recently tried on the dress to take measurements but didn’t wear a corset and it still fit me well!

In great condition except for very slight wear at the bottom of the dress which isn't noticeable (and will probably end up being altered unless you my height or taller, ie more than 5 foot 8.5”!). Some of the beads are loose, but it was like that new as well as it's meant to be a very delicate look/dress.

Gown Length (from about the collar bone to the bottom): approx. 58” (when adding up the two measurements together below). I’m about 5’ 8.5” and I wore short heels, so the dress was the perfect length to cover my feet but leave a small gap at the bottom in the front so that I wouldn’t trip.
This is broken into 2 parts:
1) Collar bone to the bottom of where the lace end/where the skirt begins (which sits just above my belly button): [removed] The skirt length (from just above my belly button to the floor at the front): ~46.25”-46.5”. There’s a bit of a train at the back but I did not measure this- please let me know if you need this measurement.

Chest: 39” over the dress, about 38.5” without dress.

Waist (narrowest part of the dress): 31”

Belly: The nice thing about this dress is that it’s forgiving around the stomach area. When I wore this for my wedding, I was about 15 lbs lighter. My belly at the time of taking these measurements this week was a bit bloated but the dress still fit! For reference, my belly (across the belly button) this week was about 35.5-36”. At the time of my wedding, I was probably closer to 31”-32”.

Hips/Butt: [removed]”. As mentioned in the belly section, the skirt itself is loose, flowy and forgiving so if you’re hips are larger or smaller, it’ll be hidden well. Personally, my hips are disproportionate to the rest of my body but you wouldn’t know it with this dress!

Arms: the sleeve is 15.5”. My arms are 12” diameter where the sleeve is.
