The Dress
Stunning Karen Willis Holmes Carrie beaded strapless dress (see: https://karenwillisholmes.com/product/carrie/).
The dress is fully hand beaded and embroidered with a short train. The dress has a strapless boned bodice, fitted waistline and a sheath skirt. The back of the dress is finished with covered buttons. The quality is exceptional and it was a dream to wear. It also comes with a detachable over skirt which I did not wear, so is brand new.
The dress was a limited edition gown for KWH's Bespoke collection, and is no longer available for purchase.
I purchased the dress in June 2021 and collected it in November 2021 for my wedding that month. The dress has been professionally dry cleaned by Bridal Silver Service, kept in a preservation box and is in excellent condition.
The dress has been hemmed and has a bustle which allows the train to be easily tied up. No other alterations were made so there is plenty of scope for a dress maker to take the dress in or out.
