The Dress

Beautiful elegant strapless, wedding dress with standout sweetheart v neck line that goes up into a point rather than rounded which makes it more stylish and unique and has a lace applique. There is nude coloured mesh in between the the v line but didn't show when I wore it. It also has a silk ribbon around the waist. It’s slim fitted to the body and with a rounded train which spreads out as you stand. The back is low and is buttoned all the way past the bum to just above knees and the bust is supported by the fitted corset so doesn’t fall down.

Some of the lace has freyed away slightly which I have shown in the pictures and video as very delicate and the inner lining has some light staining remaining to the inner hem / train area but they are not obvious as on the inside. It’s been dry cleaned by specialist wedding dress cleaners.

It was bought in 2019 but is from the 2018 collection and not worn until 2020 (Covid delays!)

This is a wonderful dress which made me feel confident walking down the aisle, I’m sad to say goodbye to it! I am 5’10 in height and high street size 10, and cup size b - the dress covered my feet so is quite long.

The dress was ordered in a designer size 14 bodice and 16 skirt and had alterations to fit my shape (which is wider on the hips and smaller in my waist and on top.) I don’t have the measurement it was taken in too by the seamstress however I’ve measured roughly and the waist now is 26 inches (however corset can pull it smaller) and the hips the dress is about 41cm wide - all approximately.
