The Dress

The Pronovias Hyperion gown is a blush a-line dress with tulle and delicate floral/beaded placements, spaghetti straps, an open leg slit, and beautiful back detail with a low back.

This dress has been worn once on my wedding day. It is a beautifully light and floaty dress which fits beautiful on the top half and flows out from the waist. There is a bustle and a wrist loops to make the train more manageable for the evening / dance floor. It was incredibly comfortable to wear and very flattering.

I have had the dress dry cleaned and it is generally in very good condition, but there are a few small marks to the very bottom of the dress from the dance floor which I think it should be possible to get out or reduce with a further clean, or alternatively if you needed the dress made shorter that would probably also reduce or remove them. I don't think it is noticeable when the dress is on as it is small marks around the floor, and in any event any long dress like this is likely to get a bit grubby around the very bottom on the day when you wear it! There is also a small hem in the very internal lining where the thread is slightly loose in one place, but not in a way which is visible or should cause any issues. Alterations

I had minor alterations made to the original design, to make the leg slit slightly less high up (so it goes to around the knee rather than the thigh) and to change a strap/bow which went horizontally across the back and instead now forms two little extra straps - you can see how it is now from the pictures. I also had it altered to be the correct length for me - I am 5 ft 6 and wore 4 inch heels, so it should still be plenty long enough for most people.
