The Dress

The Capri dress is a stunning modern take on a classic ballgown. The ivory mega matte stretch fabrication is unique to Georgia Young. The structured upper bodice has a one-shoulder knot feature and the soft A-line asymmetrical skirt has a full train.

I wanted a dress that was a Statement but not over the top and had expressed this to my stylist. After hunting for dresses in different bridal shops, we came across Capri and I fell in love in an instant.

This dress made me feel my very best on my wedding day, it was the best feeling ever. I was a Simple yet Statement bride just as I wanted and it was the perfect look for me! It is a simple, unique, statement dress and will definitely make you look and feel beautiful.

I received a lot of heartwarming compliments which made me feel even more confident and I'm sure when I look back at my pictures in years to come I will feel like I achieved a Timeless look with my dress!

Alterations

The dress was a size 14 but altered to fit a size 10/12. Bust and waist were tailored to fit and front floor-length altered so I don't trip.
