The Dress

Willowby Luna is long sleeve fit to flare dress covered in Brenna lace over a Nude lining. The lace looks like delicate fern leaves and is truly a beautiful detail. It has a low scoop back and originally had tassels on the sleeves and on the back tie, which you can see in the video from when I tried it in a bridal store. I wanted a more romantic ethereal feel to the dress, so I had these removed. On the sleeves I had a seamstress narrow the wrist and add a small trail of buttons, as well as bring the leaf edges of the lace down more onto the hands. The tie on the back has been left plain, but this could be removed or replaced. There have been no alterations made to the fit of the dress as I didn't get that far into the process. It's listed as a UK size 8 but it feels more like a 10 as there is roominess around the hips and torso due to the stretch of the fabric and its low back. It was bought pre covid for my wedding that was twice postponed. In the end I went with a completely different dress owing to a change in venue and season. I purchased a rather pricey 34B nude backless body from Yvette Bridal to go beneath this gown, which is still in a box with labels and would be happy to sell this to the buyer at discount should they be interested.
