The Dress
This was the celestial dress of my dreams. It was custom made by a Melbourne designer, Catherine R Couture, fully liner and with build in cups. The colour is ivory and silver stars, with a nude lining. The back is a deep v down to the waist, with two buttons and a hidden zip, incredibly easy to get in and out of without assistance. It’s not too heavy, and feels wonderful to walk in.
She was worn mainly inside, only outside on concrete for photos and en route to the venue. Excellent condition, with some tiny signs of wear.
The fabric looks incredible under light, and shines when you spin. It would give me so much joy to see this dress worn by another bride; she isn’t meant to be in a cupboard.
Alterations
Cut to my height (170cm without shoes)
Button claps changed from fabric to elastic for easier wear
Piping was removed under the bust due to my preference.
