The Dress

I had the dress privately made by a professional wedding maker (ex head seamstress for Alex Perry) in Sydney.
It is the remake of the stunning Julie Vino design which retails for $10,000 US and the detailing is exquisite.
You have to see it in person to see how much craftsmanship has gone into making this dress.

As you can see from the photos I had the dress made in two pieces. Italian lace cocktail dress with a zipper and button back white georgette skirt and a large gold metal belt.

As my wedding was in Malaysia on the beach I wanted a dress that I could wear in comfort in the heat & as the night progressed was able to remove the long flowing skirt for dancing.

Apart from buying the Julie Vineo original at $10,000 USD ( $13,000 AUD ) it would cost around $4,000-$5,000 to have it re created here. It is stunning value for such a detailed dress.
