The Dress
Hello! My name is Lacey, and I'm selling the wedding dress I wore during my elopement.
I originally purchased it from Piondress Bridal on Etsy. The shop is still active but the dress is no longer available online. It was originally purchased for $600 and I paid $300 in alterations.
The label size is US 8 and will fit a 29-inch waist and 37-inch bust. It's loose in the hips, so there's plenty of room there. It can be taken in if you're smaller.
I'm about 5'1 and curvy in the chest. I wore flat sneakers so about 5'2 with my shoes. This will best fit a short, petite bride with a large cup size. It can be worn with a regular bra and shapewear unlike many other styles.
You could get it shortened all the way around for a fun mini dress during your reception. This was my original plan, but I didn't have time. The skirt is very flowy (you can see in the pictures of us dancing). I think shortening it all the way into a circle skirt would be so cute to twirl in! You can add layers underneath for more volume if you want. I think this would be perfect for engagement or elopement photos in a city setting or nature setting like we did.
This has not been dry cleaned. It was freezing the day we eloped so I did not sweat at all, and it was only worn for two hours tops. Since then, it's been stored in the original garment bag safely in my closet. It's truly in great condition.
The seller listed the dress as ivory color. My personal opinion is that it's slightly brighter than a traditional ivory but not a pure white, so it doesn't have that yellow tint that ivory dresses can sometimes have. It looks amazing in black and white photos! Color is subjective however.
One of my favorite parts about this dress is that it has elegant buttons down the back for a very elegant look.
The bodice and skirt of the dress is a thick material. I'm not 100% sure of the material, but it feels like satin. The arms feel like they're a different material. They're slightly thinner, so they're very breathable. You could probably remove the arms if you wanted a sleeveless dress.

-Shortened the arms a tiny bit and made it more fitted in the wrist
