The Dress

This Gorgeous dress is extremely detailed and delicate, very feminine and has a stunning silhouette. The back is quite low and flows into a beautiful train, the split is on the left leg and adds a little something extra to the dress and I think that any bride would feel absolutely gorgeous in this dress!

My story with this stunning dress. I purchased it off Still White (second hand) last year only 2 months out from my very own wedding day which was going to be held in September. Unfortunately, due to Covid we had to reschedule to March 2022 and by then I had a changed my mind on the entire day. The theme, the dress etc and opted for a simple dress as we decided to elope instead. Eeek, I am now two dresses at hand and this fabulous Jane Hill dress unworn from the date I purchased it July 2021… Needs a Bride dying to wear it as it deserved to be shown off!!

Alterations

I have not altered the length of the gown; it was perfect for me at 168cm.

I did put an extension of about 7cm into the crutch of the bodysuit, using material provided by Jane hill, but this can easily be removed or folded over and sewed to your perfect size. *please note I have also added a press button opening within the bodysuit to make bathroom breaks a little easier!

Sleeves have been altered around the wrist and forearm for a slim fit, as the sleeves were very "baggy" when I purchased the dress off Still White.

Also, shoulders have been reduced as they were not lifted or "puffy" having too much fabric and weighing it down, gave it a droop like sleeve on the sides of the arm.. It now looks like what is pictured on the Jane Hill website/ photos provided relating to the sleeves looking lifted.

I purchased off Still White in 2021 for $4,500 with additional alterations costing of $300.
