The Dress

When I first started looking for a wedding dress. I was looking for something very simple. My mum lives in another country to me and she was looking for dresses as well. She came upon this dress and knew it was for me. When she showed me over FaceTime I cried. I knew then and there I had to wear this dress.
Because of COVID we had a much smaller wedding of only 24 guests and no family. I, however said I was still going to wear my dress because I have never felt so beautiful and so much like a QUEEN.
I promise the next woman who wears this dress is going to feel exactly the same. You will be the queen you always have been. Xxxx

The entire bodice is sheer, hand stitched and adorned with Swarovski crystals, pearls and beads. The skirt is full tulle with around 6 layers.
I was personally surprised with how light it felt when I wore it. Was very easy to move in.

(On the 3rd or 4th tulle layer of the dress there are 3 very small holes. We could barely find them when I had it dry cleaned)

Alterations

This was an American size 10 - so quite big. I am a size 6/8nz normally. We had to take a lot of the bodice in to make it fit.
I also stand at 5’2ft - I did wear 3.5” heals.
