The Dress

A beautiful intricate detailed french lace dress by Leah Da Gloria, couture designer in Sydney.

The elegant detailing carries throughout the dress, both on the corset and tail. I had so many compliments on the day and afterwards for this dress. The dress is a fitted mermaid style with a bustle and hidden zip. The dress was extremely comfortable to wear; I could eat, walk and dance in the dress all night.

Measurements for this dress: Aus size 6 (I am a 6-8 in my usual clothes), height 160cm (I wore 7.5cm heels on the day). The dress can be altered again to fit and I would be happy to recommend the talented and trustworthy tailor that has already worked on this dress.

Worn twice. Once on original owner's wedding day September 2018 and for a second time on my wedding day 13th March 2021. The gown has been professionally dry cleaned. Minor stains under the dress skirt but nothing to be seen.

I absolutely loved wearing this dress and hope it makes someone else's day just as special as mine.

Alterations

Alterations:
The length was altered and a bustle was added for comfort and to easily walk and dance in during the first brides fitting.
The same tailor opened the dress slightly for the corset to fit me more comfortably. There is some material still inside the dress so this could be opened up slightly more at next alterations if it was a tight fit.
