The Dress

This is the Rihanna dress from Galia Lahav. It retails for $17,000cad (not including alterations).

Words can't describe how stunning this gown is. It appears better in person when you are able to witness it in motion. It has lace panels in the tail that peak out throughout the dress. It has the perfect amount of tulle and lace. In different lighting, there is a very subtle shine/sparkle. It gives off a romantic, feminine vibe.

This is a mermaid/trumpet dress, it gives an illusion of a curvy body. With the different types of materials, positioning of the fabric, and where everything is mindfully laid out, it helps accentuate the body shape.

I've added bustle to it, these are the knots to tie the tail up so it's easier to dance in throughout the night (please request for image of it up).

Its been dry cleaned and preserved.

Alterations

I'm 5'3ft in height and I wore Christian louboutins - 100mm. Length altered to the final height with heels on. I wear a standard size 4-6 US.

I’ve added additional tulle for more volume on the tail.
I’ve added a bustle- knots throughout the tail to bring the dress up so I could move around throughout the night. It is just as stunning & unique up.

WITH YOUR SEAMSTRESS:
You can remove tulle if it's too much volume or too long, or add tulle if you're taller in height, or hem it if you're shorter. The chest can also be adjusted if you have a different size cup.
Or add more lace roses if you want to hide or help accentuate specific body parts.
